The Power of a Dream! - Part 2
How to get a dream?
Step1. Plug into a higher power. I believe in God, the creator of everything, the master designer. By plugging in and opening your heart and mind to him, he will give you all the answers to the whole universe and No! He will not download all the answer to you all at once… you could not possibly handle it with our small minds and closed hearts. He will give them to you, when you are ready and when you have reached a level of responsibility. Life is a journey, a process, a series of lessons to be learned and shared with others. He will guide you and give you directions and lots of visions and dreams for your life and the lives of others…if you chose to accept the higher calling and the mission.
Step2. Get the heck out of the way. Disengage your natural mind and follow your heart and spirit. Everyday spend 30 min – to an hour and read scripture, something positive with meditation and silence. BE STILL INSIDE; continuously renew your mind to his thoughts and his ways.
Step3. Now go out and make it happen. Whatever God has told you or inspired you to do, don’t let your mind try to figure out - how it is going to happen. God is all powerful; he will bring it all to pass – through the law of attraction and law of belief (working along with your level of belief). He will show you, bring people to you to make it happen. Our only part in this, is to
1. Develop a work habit – God will show you what that is through mentors, books and dreamers already doing and accomplishing big things.
2. Act and believe as though it has happened – mind, body and soul/heart. Through your heart and mind into it and your body will follow.
3. Increase your belief and passion - Increased action level, is determined by your belief level and by continues action - you develop a passion. You could have the biggest cause in the world, but if you don’t believe and have passion about it, than it is just a pipe dream – headed to the grave with you.
Step4. Get around Dreamers. – Establish friendships with movers and shakers, people that are working on project, way bigger than them. Chances are they have a spot for you or you will believe in the cause so much, that you make a spot.
Step5. Stop, Listen and Reflect. You are now well on your way making things happen. You have surrounded yourself with positive, like minded, up-lifting people (with the help of God, bringing them to you). You also have build strong alliances with hand picked (God inspired) mentors, and partners (or business partners) to help you accomplish your dreams. So now you need to stop, listen and reflect. I wrote an early article “The game plan – working from the inside out”, read this when you get a chance. The game plan is the key in this step. You need to
1. Every morning – Plug in, read scripture or positive material and get inspired. Ask yourself “What am I inspire to accomplish today?” and then set daily goals.
2. Every month – sit down and set monthly goals and review you’re past month’s daily goals and accomplishments and ask yourself – “What actions or choices brought me closer or farther away to my God inspired dream?” Once you separated the bad actions and choices from right ones, than drop the “bad” and focus on the “right actions and choice” and do more of them.
3. Every 90 days – Review your monthly goals and make adjustments. Pray and meditate on direction, get Godly advice, get counsel from your assembled mentors and advisors. Proverbs 15: 22 “Where there is no counsel, purposes are frustrated, but with many counselors they are accomplished” also in Proverbs 24:6, it mentions that through wise counsel you can wage war (accomplish must, not necessarily war) and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.
Remember, Human self-reflection is the capacity of you to exercise introspection and the willingness to learn more about our fundamental nature, purpose and essence. It is in the quiet moments - where you receive direction, balance and belief.
